Introduction
Welcome to the world of aircraft model building.  Our goal here is to give you a head start into this sophisticated hobby, from the simplest designs, to models that look realistic enough to be used as movie special effects miniatures.  Through the years, we have amassed a fair number of tips and tricks that may be beneficial in your path to creating realistic scale replicas of various aircraft.

One of the main things about this site is that we do not wish to repeat what has been said time and again about the intricacies of model building, instead, we wish to offer unorthodox methods of building, and adding realistic touches to your models. We will share our secrets in what will help you create realistic battle scarring, and paint textures, as well as other tricks that the pros use, not only in scale model building, but also in the business of movie miniatures and special effects.

Of course, all of this is a work in progress, as we are constantly discovering new tricks ourselves, so we have created a builder's forum where you can exchange ideas, as well as tips and tricks.

We have included one of the most comprehensive selection of links imaginable, including a list of Yahoo Clubs about aircraft modeling.  In the future, we plan to add sections to the site, including a future showcase gallery of your work.  These new additions will depend largely on your feedback, and contributions. Enjoy our site!

-You can use Easy-Off brand oven cleaner to remove paint off of models you wish to restore.  No need to worry, it won't melt the plastic.
