6. Custom Decals

If you are artistically inclined, or have access to some clearly defined reproductions of some of the markings on the planes you are building, you may want to venture into the world of custom decals.  Custom decals can be very useful if you have two of a particular model and wish to have a different name or numeral on your plane.

There are several resources where you can send your artwork to have it transferred onto silk screened water-slip sheets, and be warned that this is an expensive process requiring the creation of a film and screen by the manufacturer.  If you feel ready to take the plunge, the following site features more information on custom decals:
